Last chance to get your seats for the dinners at Olivar.


Seattle’s reigning impresario of Spanish cuisine, Joseba Jiménez de Jiménez, returns to Olivar for two special dinners on Wednesday, January 27th and Thursday, January 28th .  His first two dinners at Olivar, prepared last year in conjunction with chef Philippe, were sold out.

The doors will open at 6:30pm, with a five- course dinner to be served at 7:00 pm.  The price is $50 and suggested wine pairings will be available.

Sopa de Ajo: Traditional Garlic Soup with Egg & Pimentón

Trio de Croquetas: Prawn, Serrano Ham & Chicken Croquettes

Bacalao Fresco a la Koskera: Sauteed Cod with Parsley & Clams

Stuffed Piquillo Pepper with Braised Oxtail, Spanish Tortilla & Whiskey Sauce

Tarte Basque with Cherries & Chocolate

Chef Jiménez de Jiménez is the founder of Harvest Vine in Madison Valley and Txori Pintxos Bar in Belltown. A native of San Sebastian, he was twice named a finalist for the James Beard “Best Chef in the Northwest” award. His next restaurant will be in Singapore.
