I LOVE your dress, Keren!
Guilty pleasure – Doritos. Do they count as food? I am not sure they are, but as much as I try to avoid highly processed food, there is nothing like that weird addictive powder they are coated with.

I had Mighty O donuts this weekend. They seem less of a guilty food pleasure since they’re organic, but, really, who are we kidding?

I’m with Leslie on the guilty pleasure front, since I mostly eat real food, my indulgences come in the form of delicious processed food-like substances. Twizzlers… yum…

My guilty pleasure is the Peanut butter and jelly bacon sandwich from Lot no. 3 in Bellevue. It’s “eyes roll up and into the back of your head” time whenever I bite into one.

My guilty food pleasure is Spaghetti O’s. I know they aren’t good, and aren’t good for me. Somehow though they are comfort food in a can.

My guilty pleasure is basic spaghettic and meat sauce. Fresh, from scratch is best, but out of a can and box is pretty good too, with the right spices. 🙂 I could eat it everyday, but that’s a lot of pasta!

I’ve never heard of foodportunity but I am a huge foodie…so I will most certainly be attending the one in January!
As far as guilty pleasures…how do you choose just one? I LOVE food and have made it a mission to try to find the most delicious of so many things! And although it isn’t technically food, my guilty pleasure is a fabulous glass of wine! A crisp white or a deep red…I adore a great glass of wine. And when I’m sharing it with good company…nothing beats it!!
However, when it comes to food…I have a few things I’ve found over the years that I just LOVE!! I can’t live without a great burger-my favorite is Matt’s Rotisserie and Oyster Lounge in Redmond-marinated in bbq and dijon so it’s a bit sweet and simply delicious!
I can devour anything with bbq sauce!! A wet bbq pulled pork sandwich is delicious…the best BY FAR? Dixie’s BBQ “The Man” in Bellevue or you can find them at large sporting venues in the Seattle area! Another great bbq item is the bbq chicken quesadilla at Paddy Coyne’s Irish Pub in Seattle or Bellevue. Sounds odd but this simple dish is absolutely DELICIOUS! And the habenero pulled pork sliders at Tap House Grill in Seattle or Bellevue. Sometimes they come out a bit spicy for my liking-but these make the saying “Good things come in small packages” oh so true!!
I also die for FABULOUS dessert-so far the best EVER was in Moscow, ID, Tres Leches Cake, from Sangria-they also have the BEST coconut prawns and crab cakes I’ve ever had…and I tend to think of myself as a connoisseur of those two particular items! Who would’ve thought, right?
But I think the thing I crave the most…and even joke that my future husband should propose with and it would seal the deal…a batch of homemade rice krispie treats! Brown the butter just a smidge…make sure every marshmallow is melted and take them out just after combining the three ingredients and you have magic!! So simple, so easy, so nostalgic…yet somehow it still gets me every time!!
Thanks for letting me share! I can’t wait for January!! 🙂

I picked up this thing from my friend who grew up in France, it’s kind of like a homemade carbonara minus the bacon (not that I haven’t had it with bacon!).
We call it a “pasta shaker”, and what you do is take a tall glass, add a significant amount of butter and parmesan, throw in some hot linguine or spaghetti, add an egg yolk and more butter and parmesan. Then, you shake well (or mix with a spoon).
This is definitely my go to hangover food because I always have the ingredients on hand and it is oh, so evil.

So many guilty food pleasures, how to pick just one! And now I just got some new ideas from your posters! If I had to pick I’d say nachos made in the oven (not microwaved!) with loads of Tillamook Sharp Cheddar and dipped in a mix of sour cream and Frontera salsa. mmmmmmmm!

Guilty pleasure? When I was in grade school, I was on a swim team. After practice, I would collect the quarters sticking out of the lockers that had jammed locks and would go buy a bag of Funyuns. I still love that salty onion flavored ring of fried nothingness!
