Night owls will have a new home to catch up on burgers and homework with the arrival of this Belltown diner. The Lucky Diner will be open seven days a week from early morning to late night and will be serving breakfast items as well as traditional American comfort food including biscuits with gravy, omelets, burgers, sandwiches and fish and chips. The Diner will have an urban-industrial atmosphere with large windows allowing natural light , aluminum brushed chairs at the diner, Marmoleum (linoleum made from natural ingredients) counters and tabletops and recycled thick glass globe pendant light fixtures. The new venture is the work of Chef Justin Mevs, most recently the executive chef of Cutters Bayhouse until September 2009. The Lucky Diner is located at 2630 1st Ave at Cedar, Seattle, WA 98121. The diner is set to open during the last week of May.
